Justin Timberlake has signed up to star with Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey in a new movie.

They will star in a thriller called Edison, reports Teletext.

Timberlake will play a journalist who teams up with the DA's top investigator and a burned-out hack to help him bring down a corrupt group of police officers.

Edison is being produced by Millennium Films and Emmett/Furla productions.

The £14m movie is due to start filming in Vancouver on March 8 with veteran TV writer David Burke set to make his directorial debut.
