Matt Dillon has signed up to join the cast of Disney's new Herbie film.

The Rumble Fish star will play the heavy in Herbie: Fully Loaded.

Already confirmed for the film are Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan and former Batman lead, Michael Keaton.

The Hollywood Reporter also claims Garfield star Breckin Meyer is in negotiations to join the cast.

Herbie: Fully Loaded takes place in the world of Nascar racing. Dillon will take the role of Trip, the bad boy of the racing circuit , with Meyer set to play Lohan's brother and Keaton playing the duo's dad.
