Leonardo DiCaprio has revealed he has a near-death experience during a parachute jump.

DiCaprio, who plays Howard Hughes in his latest movie The Aviator, says he still shudders when he remembers when the parachute adventure went wrong reports Femalefirst.co.uk.

He said: "I pulled the cord, I looked and the chute was twisting."

Another jumper was able to cut the tangled cord, according to DiCaprio, and the two began plummeting towards the earth. But his fellow jumper eventually ensured he landed safely with him.
