Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt has been diagnosed with viral meningitis by hospital doctors, his publicist has said.
Brad, 41, was told he has a mild case of the illness after checking into the famous Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in the US.
He is said to have been complaining of flu-like symptoms when he arrived at hospital on Monday and it was initially thought he had influenza.
But he's now been given the all-clear and was sent home after two days' hospital treatment.
Hs publicist Cindy Guagenti said in a statement: "The actor is at home and doing well."
It's uncommon for patients with viral meningitis to suffer severe illness or death and most recover within a week.
Brad has recently been spending time in Ethiopia with his Mr And Mrs Smith co-star Angelina Jolie to pick up her newly adopted baby girl.
But he was back in America last weekend for an appearance at a motorcycle speedway event in California.
