Another award for Reese


Reese Witherspoon and Phillip Seymour Hoffman have won best acting awards at this year's US Screen Actors Guild.

Witherspoon won best actress for her role in Walk the Line while Hoffman won best actor for playing writer Truman Capote in the film Capote.

Receiving her award Witherspoon said: "Sometimes, I can't just shake the feeling that I'm just a little girl from Tennessee."

Hoffman, seen by many as one of the favourites to win the best actor Oscar, said: "It's important to say that actors can't act alone, it's impossible. What we have to do is support each other."

Rachel Weisz and Paul Giamatti won best supporting actor honours.

Crash won best ensemble, the SAG equivalent of best picture.
