Keith Richards says he will appear in the third Pirates of the Caribbean film.

The Rolling Stone has revealed he has signed up to appear in the film titled At World's End.

He will portray the father of Captain Jack Sparrow - played by Johnny Depp.

According to the Mirror writer Ted Elliot said: "Johnny wanted him for the latest film, Dead Man's Chest, but there was no room in the story. But there is in 'Three'."
