16th Raindance Film Festival is Open for Submissions

The UK's largest independent film festival is celebrating its 16th anniversary year and is looking for your films.
Raindance wants you to submit shorts and features of all genres from anywhere in the world – and if you’re a budding filmmaker, we suggest you get your entry in the post before the deadline closes and it's too late. The festival takes place in London's West End and has grown to become one of the city's top events.

Last year’s Jury Prize Winners were selected by a group that included Iggy Pop, Oscar-winning director Andrea Arnold Red Road, Mick Jones The Clash, and Tessa Ross Film Four; and if the thought of Iggy Pop sharing popcorn with Tessa Ross as they’re forced to watch your film doesn’t tickle you, we don’t know what will.

Festival dates have been set for 1 October to 12 October 2008 and Raindance will be accepting submissions until 20th June 2008. If you want to save on submission fees, get your film in before 1 May.
