Marvel is reportedly actively talking about a new stand-alone 'Hulk' film with Mark Ruffalo, according to the studio's boss Kevin Feige.

Rumours emerged earlier this year that there may be plans to make a film from the 'Planet Hulk' comic book series.

Such rumours have since been denied by the studio, but that's not to say a Hulk film is off the agenda entirely.

"What we’re excited about exploring and expanding is Mark – and Banner’s not in Planet Hulk at all," said Feige. "The fun of the Hulk is his interaction with humans."

"Mark could stand in his own movie. We’re talking about it. We’re excited to sit down and go, 'What is a stand-alone Hulk movie?'"
