Lohan faces more therapy sessions.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has completed her court-ordered stay in a rehabilitation centre and must continue therapy until next November, a judge said.

Until then, the Liz & Dick star must meet a therapist three times a month, Superior Court judge James Dabney said. The ruling followed the treatment recommendation of Richard Taite, founder and chief executive of Cliffside Malibu, the rehab centre where Lohan, 27, was staying.

The ruling came during a progress hearing on Wednesday in Los Angeles. The therapy sessions were recommended by the head of Cliffside Malibu.

The Liz & Dick star was ordered into rehab and therapy as part of her sentence in a misdemeanor case filed after a June 2012 car accident.

Judge Dabney's ruling states that Lindsay can have her therapy sessions by video conference if she is travelling or living outside of the Los Angeles area.
