Pierce Brosnan Pleading For Irish Bond Scenes

007 star PIERCE BROSNAN is pressuring movie bosses to shoot the next JAMES BOND film in his native Ireland - because it could be his last.

Since cutting back his workload to spend more time with son SEAN, who was injured in a tragic road accident (22APR00), Brosnan has devoted himself to encouraging Hollywood to film in his native country - and will even make two movies there himself next year (01) with his IRISH DREAMTIME company.

Now the former star of REMINGTON STEELE has set himself the
ultimate mission - to get Bond made in Ireland.

ROGER GREEN from the IRISH SCREEN COMMISSION - who spent last week with Brosnan - says, "Pierce has faced them and said, 'I'd like to do a scene or three scenes in Ireland'. We're ready to supply him with all the proof we can handle such a large production. "They usually use four major locations, and we are asking them to consider Ireland for one of those scenes. How that can be stitched into the plot we don't know. But there's no question we have the capacity to do it.

"It could be his last Bond - because his contract is up after
this movie."
