Gilliam to resurrect Don Quixote.

Terry Gilliam has announced he is having another go at making his planned Don Quixote film.

The filmmaker has wanted to make The Man Who Killed Don Quixote for several years, but so far has not had any success in getting his passion project off the ground.

However, it seems he has decided to try again.

Terry recently revealed a piece of concept art for the planned film on Facebook.

He said: "Dreams of Don Quixote have begun again. Dave Warren has started doodling. Will we get the old b*****d back on his horse this year? Human sacrifices welcomed. Stay tuned."

And the director told Empire that he is planning to start production in the Canary Islands in September.

He said of his desire to make the film: "It's obsessive... Desperate... Pathetic... Foolish. It's this growth, this tumour that's become part of my system that has to get out if I'm to survive."
