X-Men: Halle Berry Cut From Days of Future Past?

Following the news that Anna Paquin’s part in Bryan Singer’s upcoming X-Men sequel had been cut out of the film, it seems another star is set to suffer the same cruel fate.

According to the New York Daily News, Halle Berry’s reprisal of the role of Ororo Munroe, aka Storm, has been cut down to just one scene.

An unnamed source told the website: "She only has one line in the whole movie. They're not telling her until the movie comes out."

Berry, who welcomed baby boy Maceo-Robert in October, was pregnant during filming and warned fans at the time that Storm wouldn’t be as involved in the action as she previously had been.

"Storm probably won’t be as badass as she was going to be. Because we won’t be able to do any fighting or flying or things like that," she told Total Film.

But she did tease a reveal about the character, adding: "There’s something very revealing and shocking about Storm in this movie that I thought was needed. There are some things you find out about her that I think gives you much more insight into who she is."

The film’s huge cast list includes Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Fan Bingbing, Adan Canto, Josh Helman and Evan Peters.

X-Men: Days of Future Past will be released on May 22, 2014 in the UK.
