Star Wars VII Working Title revealed?

Although 'Star Wars VII' is yet to officially be given a name, it looks as though a rumoured title has been revealed…

According to Harry Knowles of Ain't It Cool News, it looks as though he's been sitting on a potential title for the upcoming 'Star Wars' sequel... And it's nowhere near as cool as I'd hoped.

"My original source had told me back in January that Abu Dhabi was a location, and when that came to be, he sent me a scoop that the title for 'Star Wars: Episode VII' was 'The Ancient Fear'."

Of course, this isn't the first potential title we've seen for 'Star Wars: Episode VII'… and while some have certainly come close, it looks as though this rumour is as good as we'll get. At least, for now.

"As I've said - getting confirmation has been a bitch. I know lots of people in J.J's camp - including J.J... But when I put the title to J.J. He never even responded. That alone was suspicious."

Apparently, the title refers to "Max Von Sydow's villain" which also gives us some indication of Von Sydow's role in 'Episode VII'. Of course, he certainly makes a fine villain - and after his roles in 'Flash Gordon' and 'Minority Report', it's become something of a speciality. But I had hoped to see him in a more heroic role… perhaps as a wise Jedi or Military leader who might help mould the future of the Jedi Order.

Obviously, this suggested title is merely a rumour until confirmed by Disney or Lucasfilm… and I can't help thinking that even if this is a working title, it won't be what we finally see on screen by 18 December 2015.
