Although numerous actresses have been linked with ‘Bond 24’ it looks as though another name has entered the running for next Bond girl and it’s none other than Hilary Swank.

According to The Independent, the 40-year-old actress is rumoured to appear in the upcoming ‘Skyfall’ sequel currently referred to as ‘Bond 24’.

"Recently, the web has spawned wild rumours that she will be the next Bond girl, starring opposite Daniel Craig in the forthcoming Sam Mendes-directed 007 film. If it turns out to be true – and that’s a big if, given Léa Seydoux is said to be the one to cosy up to Craig – then she’d be the oldest actress ever to play the MI6 agent’s squeeze."

Of course, Honor Blackman previously held that title after her appearance in ‘Goldfinger’ at the age of 39. But will Hilary Swank really appear alongside Daniel Craig in the next ‘Bond’ film?

Although we still have no idea who will take the coveted Bond girl role, it looks as though Léa Seydoux remains the fan favourite. And she’s certainly the most rumoured for the role. But with an official announcement rumoured to take place any time now, it might not be long before we find out.

Let’s face it – with rumblings that ‘Bond 24’ will begin filming next month, it looks as though the studio will have to make an announcement sooner or later. After all, they don’t want to risk being caught out on set by the paparazzi.
