Spectre to become the biggest UK debut in history.


Spectre (2015) has smashed another box office record in taking over 41m to become the biggest UK debut in history.

The James Bond film took 41.7m ($63.8m) in its first seven days of release in the UK, overtaking previous record holder Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Spectre's current box office total stands at $80.4m after its opening week, combining sales from UK and international markets.

The latest Bond also achieved the biggest Tuesday and Wednesday takings ever for a movie in the UK following its release on October 26.
