Margot Robbie has signed a first-look deal with Warner Bros. To develop and produce feature films through her LuckyChap Entertainment banner.

The Aussie actress already has two projects lined up: the upcoming neo noir thriller, Terminal, and the Suicide Squad spin-off that'll focus on her character, Harley Quinn.

The studio was apparently keen for Robbie to lay down roots with them, as they see her as one of the major factors in David Ayer's supervillain ensemble going on to gross over $700 million.

Robbie broke out in Martin Scorsese’s “Wolf of Wall Street” and is developing a Tonya Harding biopic and an adaptation of Matt Ruff’s “Bad Monkeys” with Bluegrass Films’ Scott Stuber and Dylan Clark for Universal Pictures.

The new first-look deal is part of Warner’s increased focus on female-driven storytelling, spearheaded by the studio’s Greg Silverman, president of creative development and worldwide production
