Biography

In a career that has spanned 40 years, CLINT HOWARD’s impressive list of credits includes over 70 films, five series and scores of television appearances.

His career began in 1961 at the age of two, portraying Leon in five episodes of The Andy Griffith Show. Other early highlights include guest-starring roles in The Fugitive, Bonanza and The Patty Duke Show. A 1966 appearance in Star Trek gave early indications of Clint’s versatility playing Commander Balok in The Carbonite Maneuver.

In 1967, Howard as cast opposite Dennis Weaver in the CBS series Gentle Ben. The Odd Couple, Mod Squad, Night Gallery and The Streets of San Francisco were but a few of the ‘70s shows that followed.

In 1998, Clint was honored at the annual MTV Movie Awards where he was given the Lifetime Achievement Award for his work in the industry.
