Biography

JEFFREY PRICE is a writer from Chicago whose motion picture credits include the romantic comedy Doc Hollywood and the multiple Academy Award winning Who Framed Roger Rabbit?.

He has received a Best Adapted Screenplay nominations from both the Writers Guild of America and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in 1988 for their work onWho Framed Roger Rabbit?

He has script-doctored numerous projects, ranging from the 1996 comedy hit The Nutty Professor (uncredited) to Wild Wild West. (credited).

Together with Peter Seaman, Price has worked in television as well. In 1992-93, they created and executive produced eight episodes of the critically hailed series Johnny Bago for CBS-TV. They also wrote and directed two episodes of Tales From The Crypt, one of which was nominated for a CableACE Award for Best Direction.
Currently the partners are writing an original script for Disney and Warner Bros. about Hollywood’s heyday entitled The Big Mocambo. Another original script, Angry White Men, is in active development for Silver Pictures/Warner Bros. Among other projects of theirs in development is the original satire Bad Trout for Robert Zemeckis and a remake of the Alec Guiness classic The Last Holiday, which they wrote and will produce for Paramount.
Price went to the University of Illinois and lives in Telluride, Colorado. Seaman went to Harvard University and lives in Carpinteria, California. Each is married with two daughters.
