Biography

Production designer JON BUNKER is from England. His previous films include Bellman, True, the British art house movie Croupier, the television movie Hostile Waters, and Cast a Deadly Spell, an HBO telefilm directed by Martin Campbell. He recently did the computer conceptual designs for Ridley Scott's Gladiator.

Bunker trained as an aerospace engineer, then became an architect. His start in the film industry came when he joined a special effects house and worked on several films as an effects technician. His credits as special effects supervisor includes Time Bandits. He was art director on Revolution before becoming a production designer. He was nominated for a British Academy Award for production design for The Woman in Black.
Bunker also works as a second unit director (Richard III) and director of television commercials.
