Biography

MIGUEL FERRER is best known for his intense, edgy portrayals of such characters as the avaricious executive in Paul Verhoeven’s "Robocop"; the ruthless outlaw with a heart of gold in Tony Scott’s "Revenge"; ill-tempered FBI pathologist Albert Rosenfield in David Lynch and Mark Frost’s classic ABC series "Twin Peaks"; and (in voiceover) the fearsome Shan Yu in Barry Cook and Tony Bancroft’s "Mulan."

His feature film appearances include William Friedkin’s "The Guardian," David Marconi’s "The Harvest," John Badham’s "Point of No Return" and "Another Stakeout," Jim Abrahams’ "Hot Shots! Part Deux," Rupert Wainwright’s "Blank Check," and Daniel Pyne’s "Where’s Marlowe?"

Ferrer’s television credits include starring roles in the NBC miniseries "Drug Wars: The Camarena Story" (directed by Brian Gibson) and "Cruel Doubt" (directed by Yves Simoneau); Stephen King’s ABC miniseries "The Stand" (directed by Mick Garris); the critically acclaimed NBC comedy "Lateline"; and the forthcoming dramatic series "L.A. Sheriff’s Homicide" (written by L.A. Confidential author James Ellroy).
