Biography

After studying stage management at RADA, Willy Wands returned to Scotland to work at the prestigious Citizen’s Theatre. He began his career in the Scottish film industry working on the early films of Bill Forsyth. Recent production credits include Terence Davies’ adaptation of Edith Wharton’s House of Mirth, starring Gillian Anderson, Bill Forsyth’s Gregory’s Two Girls, The Winter Guest, Alan Rickman’s directorial debut, and the award-winning comedy hit East is East.
