Bob Salerno - Details

Biography

Bob Salerno has a long-time association with Billy Bob Thornton, having served as producer on Thornton's forthcoming "Daddy and Them," and previously serving as unit production manager on "Sling Blade." Salerno also recently produced Al Pacino's directorial debut, "Chinese Coffee."

Salerno began his career in 1991, production managing and producing commercials, working with such artists as Mariah Carey, Bon Jovi, The Spin Doctors, Sinead O'Connor and Arrested Development as well as clients such as Coca-Cola, Revlon, Sony and IBM.

He began working freelance with The Shooting Gallery, the New York based production company, which led to "Sling Blade." Salerno then signed on as in-house producer, working primarily with the Gun for Hire division. He produced several features including the independent "Hudson River Blues," the mini-series "The Project," "Monty, a Rat's Tale" and "The Substitute: School's Out."
