David Boreanaz - Details

DAVID BOREANAZ catapulted to stardom with his quiet intensity as the mysterious and tortured Angel on The WB's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and, subsequently, in his own top rated spinoff series "Angel."

A native of Philadelphia, PA, Boreanaz was exposed to television at a young age (his father is a veteran weather forecaster for WPVI in Philadelphia) and decided early on a career as an actor. After graduating from Ithaca College, he moved to Los Angeles to try his luck in Hollywood.
Boreanaz made his television debut with a guest spot on "Married With Children." He also appeared in the telefilm "Men Don't Lie."

On stage, Boreanaz has performed at the Ensemble Theatre in "Hat Full of Rain"; at the Gardner Stage in "Italian-American Reconciliation" and "Fool for Love"; and on theatre row in "Cowboy Mouth." His feature film credits include "Aspen Extreme," "Best of the Best 2" and "Eyes of the World."
