Biography

Julio Caro was an executive producer of the Absolute Entertainment production 3 Strikes (1999) starring Brian Hooks and N’Bushe Wright.

In 1998 he produced the Australian film Erskineville Kings, which premiered at the Montreal Film Festival. Other credits include executive producer of Static (1985), directed by Mark Romanek, and Siesta (1987), directed by Mary Lambert, starring Ellen Barkin and Jodie Foster.

Prior to working in the entertainment industry, Mr. Caro was a Vice President at Manufacturers Hanover Trust (now Chase Bank) specializing in asset based lending, leveraged buyouts and mergers & acquisitions.

Caro received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University, College of Arts & Sciences. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana and raised both in the Dominican Republic and New Haven, Connecticut.
