Biography

PHILIP BOSCO has been nominated for the Tony Award 5 times and won once ("Lend Me a Tenor"), received an Emmy Award for "Read Between the Lines" and earned a 1989 Obie Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theater. He has also won the Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award and New York Drama Critics Circle Award. He was inducted into the Theater Hall of Fame in 1988.

Among his New York Theater appearances are "Moon Over Buffalo, The Heiress, An Inspector Calls, Major Barbara, You Never Can Tell, A Man for All Seasons" and "Heartbreak House." His films include "My Best Friend's Wedding," "Nobody's Fool, Quick Change, Working Girl, The First Wives Club, Three Men and a Baby," "Suspect" and "Children of a Lesser God." Bosco has also performed extensively on television.
