Biography

LISA JENSEN has created the wardrobes for such features as "George of the Jungle (1997)," "Dudley Do-Right (1999)," "Richie Rich (1994)," "Odd Couple II, The (1998)," "Grumpy Old Men (1993)" and its sequel, "Grumpier Old Men (1995)," "Baby's Day Out (1994)," "Fabulous Baker Boys, The (1989)," "White Palace (1990)," "Big Man on Campus (1989)," "Criss Cross (1996)," "Maid to Order (1987)," "Gun in Betty Lou's Handbag, The (1992)," "Dead Heat (1988)," "Enid Is Sleeping (1990)" and "Freejack (1992). "
Born in Berkeley, California, Jensen studied pottery at Alfred University in New York. After work as a potter, she pursued a career as a dancer in New York City before discovering her love of costuming at
Joseph Papp's renowned Public Theater, where she worked designing for the off-Broadway stage. A subsequent move to Los Angeles ensued, where she quickly won her first feature film assignment, "Mannequin (1987)," starring Andrew McCarthy.
