WILLI BÄR has recently executive produced such films as Sofia Coppola's "Virgin Suicides, The (1999) "; "A Map of the World," starring Sigourney Weaver; Mike Figgis' "Miss Julie (2000) "; "Thick as Thieves," starring Alec Baldwin; "The Big Brass Ring," with William Hurt and Irene Jacob; and the Robert Altman films "Cookie's Fortune (1999) " and "Afterglow (1997) ."
In addition, he serves as an executive producer on a number of upcoming films, including "Forever Lulu," with Melanie Griffith; "Beat," starring Courtney Love and Kiefer Sutherland; "Prozac Nation (2000) ," starring Christina Ricci; "Deuces Wild (2001) ," with Fairuza Balk; and "How to Kill Your Neighbor's Dog (2000) ," starring Kenneth Branagh.
His other film credits include Brian De Palma's "Carlito's Way (1993) ," starring Al Pacino; "Real Mccoy, The (1993) "; "Shadow, The (1994) ," starring Alec Baldwin; Wolfgang Petersen's "Shattered"; "My Life (1993) ," pairing Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman; and "Nobody's Fool (1994) ," starring Paul Newman.
