MONKEYBONE marks BILL BOES's debut as a production designer. Previously he collaborated with Henry Selick as art director on James and the Giant Peach and as assistant art director on The Nightmare Before Christmas. Additional credits as assistant art director include The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Alien Resurrection. Boes grew up in Santa Cruz near the beach and boardwalk amusement park where his favorite ride was the "cave train." He attended San Francisco State University and majored in Art and Film. Boes spent three years as a toy designer for Lewis Galoob Toys.
