Biography

NEIL CANTON landed his first job in Hollywood as assistant to director Peter Bogdanovich and went on to work on six films for the filmmaker, including "What's Up, Doc?," "Paper Moon" and "Nickelodeon." Canton then spent two years working on Orson Welles' "The Other Side of the Wind" before leaving to work with Walter Hill on "The Warriors."

Canton's first produced feature was the critically acclaimed "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai," and went on to produce "The Witches of Eastwick," the hugely successful "Back to the Future I, II and III" trilogy, "Trespass," "Geronimo: An American Legend," "Money Train," and most recently he completed "Get Carter" and "Angel Eyes."
