Biography

ALL THE PRETTY HORSES marks Doug Hall's third collaboration with Billy Bob Thornton. Hall previously designed costumes for "Sling Blade" and "Daddy and Them."

Hall created the costumes for a string of well-received independent films including James Keach's "The Stars Fell on Henrietta" (in which Thornton played a role), Jack Green's "Traveller" and Geoff Murphy's "Don't Look Back." He also was costume designer for Robert Duvall's "The Apostle," Tony Kaye's "American History X," James Foley's "The Corrupter" and Paul Marcus' "The Breakup."

Hall was nominated for an Emmy Award for costume design for his work on the television film "The Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All." His other television credits include "Spring Awakening" and "The Substitute Wife."
