Biography

KERRY WALKER was awarded the AM (Member in the General Division
of the Order of Australia) for Services to the Performing Arts in 1994. Her most recent feature film is Jane Campion's HOLY SMOKE (1999), and she also was featured in Campion's PIANO, THE (1993), for which Walker received an AFI Nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Other film credits include the international hit BABE and the Australian features Looking for Alibrandi (2000), LITTLE BIT OF SOUL, A (1998), ROAD TO NIHILL, COSI (1996), and BLISS (2000) (for which she received an AFI Nomination for Best Supporting Actress). Walker's 25 years of theatre work include roles as Mrs. Bennett in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, THE TALENTED MR. RIPLEY, THUNDER ROCK, and THE TEMPEST.
