MAURIZIO SILVI has been designing make-up for international feature film for the last three decades. Silvi has worked with many of the great Italian directors, including Bernardo Bertolucci (CONFORMIST, The (1970)), Federico Fellini (THE SHIP), Roberto Rossellini and Franco Zefferelli (HAMLET, YOUNG TOSCANINI). Silvi's most recent work includes UP AT THE VILLA (2000), ARTEMISIA (1997), and DRAGONHEART (1996). He first worked for Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin on WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE'S ROMEO and JULIET (1996), together with longtime collaborator and fellow countryman Aldo Signoretti.
