Biography

Jordan Rush was born in Chicago, studying film and television at the University of Southern Illinois. He moved to Los Angeles where he began as a stand up comedian and then created the long running successful comedy troupe "Constant Comedy. " He fast became known in the industry as the "pitch writer" setting up development deals to write his original stories for film and television with Warner Bros. , Universal, Columbia, Paramount, Castle Rock, etc. He wrote for the situation comedy series "Coach" and his writing runs the gamut of genres from the dark psychological thriller "Never Talk to Strangers" starring Antonio Banderas and Rebecca De Mornay to the broad camp comedy "Club Fed" for MGM-UA. He also produced "American Reel" starring Mariel Hemmingway and David Carradine. He also is one of the founding partners with Pocket PC Films, which puts films and television content onto hand held devices. He's a member of the Writers Guild of America and teaches and lectures on screenwriting at UCLA and USC.
