Possession : Movie Review

Possession (2002) - Movie Poster
"Possession is based on AS Byatt’s dense, literary, terribly English novel. The film is directed by gritty, iconoclastic, ultra-modern bad boy Neil LaBute."

It ought to be tremendous fun, like Sam Peckinpah doing Jane Austen. But it isn’t.

Possession is a love story, or rather two love stories divided by time.

In the 19th century, eminent poet Randolph Henry Ash (Northam) woos the fiercely non-comformist poetess and recluse Christabel LaMotte (Ehle).
