YVAN ATTAL (Director/ Yvan)
Born on January 4, 1965 in Tel Aviv, Attal grew up in France in the suburbs of Paris. An actor for over a dozen years, MY WIFE IS AN ACTRESS is his first feature film as a director. Attal made his screen debut in 1989 in Eric Rochant's UN MONDE SANS PITIE which earned him the1990 Cesar for Best New Actor. His other films include Régis Franc's MAUVAISE FILLE (1990) , Eric Rochant's AUX YEUX DU MONDE (1991) and LES PATRIOTES (1991), Jacques Doillon's AMOUREUSE (1991), Diane Kurys' APRES L'AMOUR (1991), Martine Dugowson's PORTRAITS CHINOIS (1995), Denis Amar's SARAKA BO (1996), Marion Vernoux's LOVE ETC. Yvan is married to Charlotte Gainsbourg.

One of France's most acclaimed and prolific directors and producers, Berri's many films as a director include LE POULET (1965), MARRY ME! MARRY ME! (1969), LE SEX SHOP (1973), ONE WILD MOMENT (1977), JEAN DE FLORETTE (1986), MANON OF THE SPRING (1986), URANUS (1990), GERMINAL (1993), LUCIE AUBRAC (1997) and LA DEBANDADE (1999). He is currently shooting his 22 nd film, UNE FEMME DE MENAGE. Also an actor, Berri has appeared in over 25 films. He has served as a producer on over 35 films, including TESS (1979), THE BEAR (1989), THE LITTLE THIEF (1989) and Costa Gavras's latest film, AMEN (2002).

A longtime associate of Claude Berri, Pierre Grunstein has produced or executive produced over thirty films, including TESS (1979), JEAN DE FLORETTE (1986), MANON OF THE SPRING (1986), THE WRONG BLONDE (1999), and Claude Berri's latest film, UNE FEMME DE MENAGE (2002).
