The colourful characters of the Chatsworth Estate are back at their outrageous best. Following on from the huge success of the first two series, Shameless Series 3 is available to own for the first time on DVD from Monday 30th October. The DVD features all eight episodes of the multi-award winning series and kicks off with an exclusive feature-length New Year special. Other DVD Extras include a 23-minute Alice Barry ‘mockumentary’. On the same day the Shameless Series 1-3 Box Set is released featuring all three series in their entirety plus all additional extras and bonus material spread over 8 discs.

shameless DVDThe critically acclaimed and brilliantly funny drama from award-winning writer Paul Abbott (Clocking Off, Cracker) features the Chatsworth Estate's Gallaghers, probably the UK's most dysfunctional family. At the helm is Frank (David Threlfall), who embarks on a series of adventures with his remarkably well-balanced children Fiona (Anne-Marie Duff), Lip (Jody Latham), Ian (Gerard Kearns), Debbie (Rebecca Ryan), Carl (Luke/Elliott Tittensor) and Liam (Johnny Bennett) - not forgetting the other two with Frank's valium-fuelled lover, Sheila (Maggie O’Neill). Shameless is packed with sex, drugs, gratuitous violence, love and scams.

Chaos ensues once more, with more tales of how this one extraordinary family goes about its normal, everyday life.

Puberty finally catches up with the Gallaghers; Carl discovers sex and ASBOs, Debbie struggles with her grown-up responsibilities and little Liam denounces religion at his RC Primary School. Lip becomes a Dad while Ian’s heart gets badly broken. And Sheila’s white wedding dream turns into the wedding of the century, so even Frank can’t ignore it – or her!

Next door, Veronica (Maxine Peake) and Kev (Dean Lennox Kelly) hit dangerous ground when his real wife turns up. And mum, Carol (Marjorie Yates) finds that shoplifting is not so easy. New councillor Kash (Chris Bisson) proves he’s bent in every way and Karen (Rebecca Atkinson) gets more than she bargained for at The Jockey.

Shameless 3 DVD extras include a 23-minute mockumentary of a day in the life of Alice Barry (Phoenix Nights, Clocking Off, Linda Green) titled Being Alice Barry (Lillian Unpeeled) interspersed with comments from Paul Abbott.
