Beautiful, sexy, and charming, Max is the kind of woman guys go nuts for. She's also a crafty strategist who marries rich men only to divorce them for settlement money when they're caught with their pants down. Her plan wouldn't work without an accomplice, though, another sexy shyster to maneuver the target into, um, position.

Max (SIGOURNEY WEAVER) and Page (JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT)are a mother and daughter con team who have honed their gift down to a fine art.
Heading for Palm Beach, Florida, the duo set their sights on their richest target to date, quirky tobacco tycoon William B. Tensy (GENE HACKMAN), a billionaire with a world-class smoking habit. Eager to assert her independence, Page, sets out to secretly find a target of her own when she attracts the interest of Jack (JASON LEE), seemingly a bartender of modest means. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Max and Page, their last vengeful victim, Dean (RAY LIOTTA) furious but still heavily in lust, is hot on their trail. .. !
