Mr. Deeds (2002) - Synopsis
Adam Sandler stars in this comic rags to riches story based on the 1936 Frank Capra film, Mr. Deeds Goes To Town (1936). Deeds is a small town guy who enchants the locals with off-kilter poetry readings. Winona Ryder plays his prissy blond girlfriend. When Deeds inherits money left to him by his uncle and his lifestyle begins to change, his sense of humor stays solidly the same.
