Zishe Breitbart (Jouko Ahola) is a Jewish blacksmith's son from Poland who becomes a sensation in Weimar Berlin as a mythical strongman. His employer Hanussen (Tim Roth) dreams of establishing an all-powerful Ministry of the Occult in Hitler's government.
