Loverboy (2005) - Synopsis
An adaptation of the Victoria Redel novel that centers on an unsound mother (Kyra Sedgwick) who surrounds her only son with a magical world for two, filled with art, games and bottomless devotion. She is courted by a man (Dillon) who shapes up as a father figure to the boy. When the boy longs to attend a school with other children, outsiders threaten their world. Bacon and Tomei play the woman's parents, seen in flashback.
