Singer COURTNEY LOVE has begged film director DARRON ARONOFSKY for a part in his up-and-coming movie BATMAN 5 - but he was left cold by the suggestion.

Love met up with Aronofsky at the Los Angeles premiere of his latest flick REQUIEM FOR A DREAM (16OCT00), where she begged the infamous director for a part in his Batman 5 project.

Love told Aronofsky, "I am hoping you are writing me a part in Batman - I would be a good female lead." But Aronofsky simply shook his head and murmured, "Thanks for coming Courtney."
