Tessa Thompson Joins Chris Hemsworth in 'Men In Black' Spin-off.

Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are set to reunite in the “Men in Black” reboot at Sony Pictures.

Hemsworth has been in negotiations for a role for a few weeks now, but Thompson has just hopped onboard with the pair playing two of the three leads in the new film which is expected to be both more of an ensemble and with a bigger global scope.

The new film will apparently "acknowledge and build on the world" of the previous movies starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, whilst introducing more characters and featuring a global scale.

Based on the comic book series by Lowell Cunningham, the first Men in Black was released in 1997 and was followed by sequels in 2002 and 2012. Together, the three movies grossed over $1.65 billion.

Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, who appeared in the first three movies as Agents J and K, are not expected to return.
