Mike Myers wants to make Austin Powers 4 from Dr Evil's perspective.

Mike Myers has once again spoken about the possibility of a fourth Austin Powers movie, saying he'd like to tell a story from the perspective of the international man of mystery's arch nemesis Dr Evil.

Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery came out of nowhere to become a pop culture sensation, if not an actual huge box office hit. The sequel Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me truly validated the popularity of the character, grossing $206 million domestically. A second sequel, Austin Powers in Goldmember, did even better with $213 million.

Speaking to Et at the premiere of heist thriller Terminal, Myers said he still hopes to add a fourth movie to the trilogy he completed in 2002.

He said: "I would love to do a movie from Dr. Evil’s perspective. So it would be Dr Evil 1, Austin Powers 4, is how I would roll. Start the campaign, please. Thank you."

Fans have been clamouring for a fourth film in the series ever since the release of the original trilogy, in which Myers played both the titular spy and his bald nemesis.
