Did JK Rowling just reveal the setting of Fantastic Beasts 3?

J.K Rowling may have just revealed the setting of Fantastic Beasts 3.

The Harry Potter author might have let slip the next destination for Newt Scamander and his allies following the events of the forthcoming Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018)

When asked to explain her header image on Thursday, Rowling explained that it was a picture of "Rio da Janeiro in the 1930s".

In another response to her incorrect spelling of the Brazilian city, she added: "Let's just say I really ought to be able to spell Rio de Janeiro properly, given how many times I've written/typed it in the last few months."

As all Rowling followers will know, the author finished work on her fourth Robert Galbraith novel Lethal White earlier this year, and has since been working on the screenplay for the third movie in the Fantastic Beasts franchise.

Given that she has written the name of the city "many times" over the past few months, there's every chance Rio could be one of the locations featured in the third Fantastic Beasts film... unless this is all just a case of misdirection.
