Taron Egerton, Anya Taylor-Joy and Nathalie Emmanuel are set to lead the voice cast for "The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance", the 10-episode animated fantasy series that's a prequel to Jim Henson's 1982 fantasy film.

Taron Egerton, Anya Taylor-Joy and Nathalie Emmanuel lead the cast as the Gelfling heroes Rian, Brea, and Deet respectively. They are joined by Caitriona Balfe , Helena Bonham Carter, Harris Dickinson , Natalie Dormer , Eddie Izzard , Theo James ,Toby Jones, Shazad Latif, Gugu Mbatha-Raw , Mark Strong and Alicia Vikander , who will play other Gelfling characters.

Additional characters will also be voiced by puppeteers from the production, including Alice Dinnean, Louise Gold, Neil Sterenberg and Victor Yerrid, with more to be announced soon.

"To match the stunning visual world of The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, we knew we had to entice some incredible voice talent to add dimension to the exquisite artistry of the puppeteers who bring the characters to life," Cindy Holland, VP of Original Series, Netflix said in a statement. "I am proud to say that this may be one of the finest casts assembled from the world's favorite TV shows and movies, and I am now even more excited for fans to come back to Thra with us, and for new viewers to discover this world for the very first time."
