Gal Gadot Will Voice Wonder Woman in LEGO Movie 2.

Gal Gadot will be making her return as Wonder Woman sooner rather than later, as the actress is set to voice the character in next month's The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part.

Gadot will be taking over the role from Cobie Smulders, who voiced the character in The Lego Movie, and joins fellow Dceu stars Margot Robbie and Jason Momoa, who are confirmed to be reprising their roles as Harley Quinn and Aquaman respectively.

The decision to bring in Gadot to voice the character shouldn't be too surprising. Wonder Woman was both critically and financially successful, going on to earn an astounding $821.8 million at the worldwide box office. It's of note that The Lego Movie released before Gadot made her debut as the character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, so she was not as closely associated with Wonder Woman at the time of the first animated film's release.

The Lego Movie 2 is also set to feature appearances from Batman, Superman and Green Lantern, with Will Arnett, Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill returning to their respective roles from the first film. Cyborg and The Flash will also feature, but as yet there’s no word on who’ll be voicing those characters
