Vin Diesel hints at casting in James Cameron's Avatar sequels.

Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel may have just joined the cast of James Cameron's upcoming Avatar sequels.

The films have been in production for a very long time and a new video has been posted online by Vin Diesel from the set of the film with the director.

In the video Cameron says, "Okay, so here we are on the set of Avatar 2, 3, 4, and 5. It's top secret, it's like the Manhattan Project." He then joked, "My old buddy Vin, and we're actually gonna give him the flashy thing from Men in Black when he leaves here so he has no memory whatsoever."

Diesel added, "You never saw this. But I'll tell you, it's long overdue. There is one person in Hollywood I've always wanted to work with and learn from."

Given the secretive nature of the Avatar sequels, there’s no indication of what Diesel’s role will be, or which of the four sequels he may be appearing in.

Returning for the Avatar sequels are Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, Stephen Lang, Matt Gerald and Sigourney Weaver. Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis and Oona Chaplin are also joining the sequels.

Cameron recently explained that Stephen Lang's Colonel Miles Quaritch is coming back for all four sequels and will be the main villain throughout the story.
