Diane Kruger has joined the cast of Simon Kinberg's spy thriller "355".

Kruger replaces Marion Cotillard, who left the project in May due to personal reasons. Kruger joins an all-star cast that includes Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o, Penélope Cruz and Fan Bingbing. Sebastian Stan and Edgar Ramirez also star.

Kinberg is set to direct from a script he co-wrote with Theresa Rebeck. The movie follows a group of spies from international agencies around the world. These women must bond together, overcoming their suspicions and conflicts, to use all their talents and training to stop an event from occurring that could thrust our teetering world into chaos. Along the way, these strangers and enemies become comrades and friends, and a new faction is formed – code-named "355"

Sebastian Stan and Edgar Ramirez are also in the cast for the film, which Chastain is producing as well as leading. Kinberg is in pre-production to start shooting soon. Kruger will next be seen on these shores in JT Leroy, which arrives on 16 August.
