Ryan Reynolds Joins Dwayne Johnson's 'Red Notice', Which Moves From Universal to Netflix.

Ryan Reynolds has joined Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot in the heist thriller "Red Notice", which has also moved from Universal Pictures to Netflix.

Director Rawson Marshall Thurber is helming the project, which will center around capturing the most-wanted art thief in the world. He had this to say in a statement:

"I'm beyond thrilled to be making 'Red Notice' with Scott Stuber and Netflix - a company that believes in filmmakers and big ideas for a global audience."

Red Notice was a hot studio package that Universal won last year in a bidding war, trumping Netflix at the time.

According to a new report, the movie will cost Netflix $130 million to produce. That includes a hefty $20 million salary for Dwayne Johnson, in addition to the surely large salaries for both Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds, who anchor the Wonder Woman and Deadpool franchises, respectively.
