Henry Cavill in talks to return as 'Superman' in DC Movie.

Henry Cavill is currently in talks to return to the DC film universe as Superman in a limited capacity.

At this stage, no other details are forthcoming. It would likely come as part of another character's story such as 'Black Adam' or even in a 'Shazam' sequel.

In addition to Zack Snyder's Superman origin story "Man of Steel" in 2013, Cavill played the iconic hero in 2016's "Batman v Superman" and 2017's "Justice League"

Back in 2018, Cavill said he would like to return as 'Superman' in a 'Man of Steel' sequel, stating he would jump at the chance to return and draw from his favourite comic books.

"I would love to make a Superman movie, I would love to draw from all of my favourite comic books and make an original story which is based on the essence of those characters and have that joyful, hopeful, powerful figure who Superman is. Not just like the chocolate box that is saving kittens and stuff, a little bit of that, absolutely, but also the badass version of Superman. A Superman who you see his raw power, not necessarily unleashed in a negative way, but you see it in the protection of other people."
